What an amazing and inspiring view at the Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska. The main subject of the photograph is the Toklat river, specifically its West Branch. The river runs on a valley almost silently, crystalline, streaming and flowing within the valley. This area is known for its classic mountain scenery and quick access to large expanses of alpine tundra deep in the Alaska Range. You are surrounded by the jagged peaks of the Alaska Range (seen in the far upper left side of the photo), but views of Denali (see bellow) are only possible from the highest ridges.
