I shot this wonderful scene during my visit to the city of Jerusalem in April, 2007. The photograph depicts what seems to be an Orthodox Jewish family, a father and his two sons, walking as one, in synchronicity, toward the Western Wall to pray. The Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall and the Kotel, is located in the Old City of Jerusalem, specifically at the foot of the western side of the Temple Mount. Its significance lies in that It is a standing remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple's courtyard.
