The artist's photographic of the sentiment in "En Mi Viejo San Juan" (In My Old San Juan), a song composed by Noel Estrada Suarez in 1943 and famous all over the world, which speaks about the longing any local Puerto Rican feels when departing their precious island of enchantment. According to the National Foundation of Popular Culture in Puerto Rico, "En Mi Viejo San Juan" was first recorded in 1943 by "El Tro Vagabajeno". Estrada composed the song because his brother, who was stationed in Panam as a member of the US National Forces during World World II, asked him to write a song that he could use to share with his friends to express his deep feeling of longing and nostalgia for San Juan, Puerto Rico. The result: "En Mi Viejo San Juan" became the anthem of all absent Puerto Ricans, of all those Puerto Ricans living away from the Island of Enchantment. The lyrics are bellow!
