Building at the entrance to the town of Capernaum. Capernaum or "Nahum's village" was a fishing village, where Jesus' first disciples lived, is located on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee. Specifically, Capernaum is on the side of the ancient road from Tiberias to the east of Golan, Gamla and the Jordan river, which provides the water inflow to the Sea of Galilee. It is a magnificent historical site in Israel adorned by an abundance of flowers typical to Israel that even beatified landscapes during biblical times.
