Description
FEATURED PHOTO: Comfortable Art FAA group - 01/03/2013
When I saw from a far the typical little tropical sherbet car vender pushing his car on the beach, the smile that always appears on my face upon such this scene did not wait to manifest itself. These tropical sherbet vendors are typical of Spain and spread throughout the Caribbean and certain Hispano American countries. The sort of sight that I experienced brings such memories from countries and/or childhood to the many peoples exposed to this delight. Personally, I came to love the delicious coconut sherbet, the smell, the little car, the humble vendor and the ring of the bells of his car when I was around 5 years old during my many times with my mom at Central Park New York. Remember, New York is filled with Hispanics. The photo, seen in black and white, was taken at one of the beautiful beachfronts at Isla Verde (or "Green Island"), a District of Carolina, Puerto Rico, just outside of San Juan. The little car seen in the photo displays the typical features of these historical urban scene, being white, with the buckets, filled with tropical sherbet of different flavors, and three red covers. Of course, the large blue umbrella can never be missed.

I love the way that you've composed this so that the umbrella "feels" like it is over the water! Great narrative! v/f
