An artistic photographic rendition of a European two-handled ceramic vase that my sister and I gave as a present to my mother. This still- life photograph depicts the vase bought in one of the many art stores in the city of Old San Juan in 1985. This a real family treasure for me as it was the first present that I bought for my mother, with many earned on my own as a science laboratory research student. I inherited it back after my mother's passing in 2002.

As you can contemplate in the photograph, this piece of ceramic pottery is a beautiful sample of baroque art. This piece of beautiful pottery, as all pottery items, was created using special technique to produce a clay vase body. How marvelous is the notion of man creation such precious pieces of art by molding clay with his hand. Here so many techniques where used to create this wonderful vase that I was so privileged to obtain. This pottery actually has two pieces, a plate seen in the bottom upon which the two-handled vase stands. Going back to the main piece, the vase itself n one can appreciate its special shape, duality of colors, the presence of different decorative effects alined and intercalated horizontally.
